Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Lawton OK
Shift Notes: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (Flexible start time from 7 am 9 am)
SignOn Bonus: $6000
Salary Range: $40 $45/hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist is tasked with evaluating planning directing and administering physical therapy treatments as prescribed by licensed physicians. This role aims to restore function prevent disability and help patients reach maximum performance and functional levels within the limits of their capabilities after injury disease or physical disability.
Responsibilities:
- Administer physical therapy treatments and physical agents as prescribed.
- Evaluate patient response to therapy and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to support staff including Aides Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and students.
- Participate in operational aspects of the physical therapy department including performance improvement activities and compliance with infection control policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of patient charges and participate in safety programs within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the applicable state.
- Proven experience in physical therapy with a strong understanding of various physical therapy modalities.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages from infants to the elderly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
