Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Technologist First Assist
Location: Graham TX
Shift: 8 Hour Days Monday to Friday 6 AM 3 PM
Salary Range: $28/hour for a new grad up to mid $50s per hour depending on experience
Job Description: The Surgical Technologist First Assist provides critical support in surgical procedures with a focus on orthopedic surgeries. This role includes not only assisting in surgical operations but also working some days in an office setting applying casts and performing other orthopedic duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist during surgical procedures ensuring efficient handling of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Work under the supervision of surgeons to ensure that the operating room environment is safe and sterile.
- On nonsurgical days assist in the orthopedic office with tasks such as casting.
- No oncall duties currently required.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Experience with orthopedic procedures highly preferred.
- Ability to adapt to varying schedules and duties between the operating room and orthopedic office settings.
