Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Bridgeport CT
Rate: $28.00/hour with Shift Differential
Shift: Evenings 2:00 PM 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
Role Overview:
Provide XRay and EKG services (as needed) to nursing homes healthcare facilities and other locations. The position requires handling portable radiography equipment and ensuring the delivery of highquality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and process XRays using digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment; submit images for radiologist interpretation.
- Conduct EKG tests and send results for cardiologist review (if required).
- Manage and transport portable XRay equipment to and from various facilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to exams and billing.
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch management and facility staff.
- Uphold maintenance standards for vehicle and Xray equipment.
