Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Bad Axe Michigan
Shift: Variable 72 hours per biweekly pay period
Shift Times: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Salary Range: $37.78 $47.74 per hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will work with patients across outpatient acute and swing bed settings focusing on assessing diagnosing and treating mobility impairments to enhance and restore functional ability and
quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations utilizing specific tests and measures to gather data for treatment planning.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans targeting patientspecific impairments in line with physician directives.
- Continuously reassess patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefits.
- Manage and oversee the discharge planning process from initial assessment to treatment conclusion.
- Supervise ancillary staff and students ensuring adherence to state regulations and department policies.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of treatment sessions and patient progress in compliance with regulatory and insurance standards.
- Engage in effective communication with patients families and healthcare team members to ensure a coordinated and inclusive approach to care.
- Provide education tailored to the needs of patients and their caregivers.
- Commit to professional development and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Uphold safety standards to ensure a secure environment for patients visitors and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Michigan.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
