Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager Perioperative
Location: Newark Delaware
Shift: Days Monday Friday
Salary: $99000 $138000 annually
Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Assistant Nurse Manager with OR experience and CNOR certification to lead clinical and operational practices in our stateoftheart facility. This leadership role is pivotal in supporting our ANCC Magnet designated unit and driving excellence in patient care and staff development within the surgical services department.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical and administrative operations ensuring highquality patient care and compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation.
- Mentor and support nursing staff promoting professional development and adherence to the highest healthcare standards.
- Manage staffing and patient scheduling to optimize care delivery and department efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Participate in budget preparation and manage departmental expenditures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Masters degree in a related field preferred or enrollment to be completed within 5 years.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical and leadership experience in an OR setting.
- Required certifications: CNOR; must have current nursing licensure in Delaware or a compact state. BLS certification required.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively with staff and management.
