Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Denton Texas
Shift: 12Hour Days / 07:00 AM 07:00 PM
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Salary: $30$40 per hour
Overview:
As a fulltime Occupational Therapist. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment focusing on patient care that emphasizes recovery and rehabilitation.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct evaluations treat patients and monitor their progress adjusting therapy programs and goals as needed.
- Perform detailed clinical documentation promptly and accurately and enter charges.
- Communicate effectively with patients families colleagues and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide education and guidance to patients families and staff to enhance understanding and performance.
- Supervise ancillary staff students and volunteers to ensure quality care delivery.
- Stay abreast of and implement evidencebased practices through ongoing education and literature review.

- Strong communication skills to positively interact with all levels of the healthcare team.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to operate standard rehabilitation equipment.

Qualifications:
- Must have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or a Bachelors degree with 2 years of additional work experience.
- Less than 1 year of experience required making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates or those early in their career.
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
