Job Title: Radiologic Technologist PRN
Location: Waco Texas
Shift: 12 HR Days
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Salary: $33 per hour
Job Overview:
Join our dedicated radiology team as a PRN Radiologic Technologist. This position requires a professional who can perform highquality radiology procedures in compliance with exam protocols and hospital standards.
Essential Functions:
- Perform radiology procedures accurately adhering to established protocols to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Utilize AIDET communication standards to enhance patient interactions and ensure proper exam procedures.
- Manage patient care setup including positioning and adjustment of equipment.
- Adhere to safety infection control and radiation policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain equipment and work areas ensuring operational readiness and cleanliness.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain medical imaging records.
Key Success Factors:
- Ability to perform highquality radiologic procedures and manage patient care effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and reassure patients.
- Independent worker capable of managing tasks without routine oversight.
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Current knowledge and ongoing education in radiology practices.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRTR).
