Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist II
Location: McKinney Texas
Shift: 07:00 AM 05:00 PM
Shift Per Week: 4
Scheduled Hours: 40
Salary: $25 $36
Job Overview
Join our surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist Level 2 and play a critical role in patient care during surgical procedures. Youll ensure the efficient and safe use of surgical instruments maintain sterile environments and collaborate closely with surgeons and the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment before procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
- Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Perform surgical counts of sponges sharps and instruments.
- Support surgical teams with patient draping positioning and dressing applications.
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and maintain inventory.
- Follow AORN OSHA and infection control guidelines to ensure safety.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from NBSTSA or NCCT or equivalent military/public health service training.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Less than 1 year of experience required; onthejob training provided.
