Job Description
Title : Civil Supervising Engineer
Salary : $Per Annum Plus Benefits
Location : Mount Laurel Township NJ 08054
Responsibilities
Additional Responsibilities:
Prepare project estimates including material takeoffs and manpower estimates
Develop task schedules and engineering budgets
Develop material specifications and prepare bid evaluations.
Review relevant codes design documents specifications and construction documents to support project development.
Review engineering reports and documentation prepared by junior staff
Provide mentoring and technical development of junior staff
Ensure the quality of project deliverables
Travel to project sites as required.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a fouryear accredited college or university.
Experience: Minimum 8 (10) years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering and Design.
Experience to include:
o Experience in Power Plant Transmission and Distribution and Site/Land Development Projects.
o Performing engineering calculations such as storm water and site drainage preparation of SWPPP environmental permitting land development plans including foundation excavation plans roadway layout traffic circulation studies erosion and sediment control plans site grading and drainage plans.
o Fully understands the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices standards and procedures.
o Civil Design Software: AutoCAD Civil 3D 3D Modeling DTM Modeling PondPack and Flowmaster.
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be capable of collaborating with the multidiscipline engineers and designers.
Strong people skills and ability to work well with others
Professional Engineering (PE) license in US.
