Job Description
- Invoice processing: This is a critical step in the accounts payable process and involves generating routing approving and paying invoices.
- Payment processing: This ensures that payments are made accurately and on time at the lowest cost possible.
- Vendor correspondence: This includes responding to vendor inquiries and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit.
- Financial record production: This includes creating managing and producing financial records that track cash flow and payments to vendors.
- Vendor statement audit: This involves verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Maintaining records: This includes maintaining historical records of all invoices reports receipts and checks.
- Adhering to accounting principles: This includes following company standards and accounting principles.
- Assisting with financial procedures: This can include assisting with budgeting procedures and financial procedures.
- Producing purchase orders: This can be required when needed.
- Obtaining and printing signatures: This can be required on all checks
