Job Description
$500 bonus to any driver that hires on by 12/30/24. Bonus pays out after all account specific training is complete (average of 24 weeks) and driver takes first solo dispatch.
Position details:
- Stop pay: $60 per stop
Mileage rate: $0.52 cpm
Safety training: $15 per hour
New hire training period: $300 per day
Holiday pay per day: $200 - Schedule: Monday Friday
Start Time: 03:00 05:00
Shift: 1214 hours
Drivers will spend 34 nights on the road per week and will reset at home Saturday Sunday
- Driver will start at DC in Reno with trailer loaded with windows and doors and make deliveries to dealers in CAOR WA UT AZ NM and Canada (Vancouver BC and Calgary AB)
- Driver will use a scanner to scan products taken off the trailer to verify each stop gets the right product
- Driver will have to help push the windows and doors to the end of the trailer and help the receiver bring the product off the trailer by hand
- Driver will have an average of 4 to 8 stops per day
- Driver will be responsible for repositioning the load securement bars after each stop to confirm the product is secured
- Building and keeping good relationships with the customers is key for this account.
Special Requirements:
- Driver must acquire passport within 60 days of hire. Account will reimburse.
- This position is extremely physical.
- Driver must be capable of moving windows and doors that weigh upwards of 200lbs multiple times per day
- Making sure we are following customer protocol for checking in for loaded trailers and dropping trailers where they need to be
- Some handling of product may be required.
- Chaining is required as weather dictates
