Position Overview:
As the Pharmacy Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the pharmacy department. This includes managing a team of pharmacists and technicians ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and maintaining highquality standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations excellent leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of pharmacists and technicians including hiring training and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations including maintaining accurate records and reporting
Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other departments within the organization
Monitor and analyze pharmacy metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and quality of care
Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff regarding patient care and medication management
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy management programs
Stay current on industry developments and changes in regulations and update policies and procedures as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Active pharmacy license in the state of Arizona
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy leadership role
Strong understanding of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Experience with pharmacy software and technology
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
