Job Description

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Interaction:
  • Explain and clarify insurance policy benefits coverage and exclusions to clients.
  • Assist clients with claims processing and follow up on the status of their claims.
  • Provide information on different insurance products and services.
  1. Policy Management:
  • Process new insurance applications renewals and policy changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Handle customer inquiries complaints and escalations in a professional manner.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in understanding their benefits and resolving any issues.
  • Schedule appointments and followup meetings with clients.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Prepare and distribute policy documentation quotes and other relevant materials.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as data entry filing and document management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Skills:
  1. Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to explain complex insurance terms and policies in a simple and clear manner.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on empathy patience and problemsolving.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and provide solutions to clients issues.
  1. DetailOriented:
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in policy processing and documentation.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  1. Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with insurance software and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  1. Analytical Skills:
  • Ability to assess clients needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Problemsolving skills to address client concerns and claims issues.
  1. Regulatory Knowledge:
  • Understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to stay updated with changes in the insurance industry and regulations.
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; a bachelors degree in business finance or a related field can be advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Licensed Insurance Representative) may be required or preferred.
  • Previous experience in insurance customer service or a related field is often beneficial.
