About Open Payments

Open Payments is a VCfunded FinTech startup founded in 2017. We are on a mission to disrupt the financial industry and change how consumers and businesses use and access financial services with the aim to shape the Open Banking era.

We provide the groundbreaking market infrastructure required for successful Open Banking based on PSD2. Open Payments uses an open and secure API to access the diversified bank APIs throughout the EU.

We are a team of around 20 employees based in Stockholm and Vsters working together to build cuttingedge solutions that transform the financial industry.

About the Role

As a QA Engineer at Open Payments you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative Open Banking platform. This is a broad and handson role where you will drive testing strategies implement automation frameworks and contribute to building robust systems. You will work closely with our development team and stakeholders to ensure our services exceed customer expectations.

In this role you will:

• Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the functionality security and performance of Open Payments systems and services including conducting security performance and load testing.
• Build maintain and enhance automated regression test suites while proactively monitoring system traffic and analyzing KPIs to identify irregularities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for testing and quality assurance processes while actively refining and improving testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing goals with business requirements and ensure continuous delivery of highquality solutions.

About You

We believe you are a curious and detailoriented professional with a proactive mindset and a passion for delivering highquality solutions. You are a team player who enjoys diving deep into technical challenges and thinking outside the box to explore system vulnerabilities.

Were looking for someone with experience in:

• Testing frameworks and tools such as Postman or similar.
• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics.
• Cloud platforms preferably Azure and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Manual and automated testing processes in agile crossfunctional teams.

Its an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of Open Banking the Berlin Group NextGenPSD2 standards or payment solutions.
• Understanding of accounting corporate finance or related domains.
• Familiarity with ISO 20022 or similar standards.
• A strong security awareness and experience in security testing.
