Founded in 2022 and with 1000 employees and counting Aira is driving the clean energy revolution by providing homes with modern clean energytech solutions such as solar power battery storage solutions and heat pumps. With a stateoftheart production facility in Poland an HQ in Stockholm Sweden and hubs across the UK Germany and Italy Aira is well on track to install clean energytech into 5 million homes by 2034.
About the role
As a Backend Developer youll play a central role in our Conversion team within Airas Acquisition area. The focus of this team is to transform how people discover and embrace clean energy by creating digital experiences that educate inspire and simplify the path to sustainable technology where you will be the driving force behind the teams backend systems that power our mission.
Within the Conversion Team we inspire website visitors to take the first step toward a greener futurewhile enhancing Airas online brand presence and advancing our mission. Ultimately we envision providing a seamless online shopping experience enabling customers to make direct purchases from our website.
What you bring to the team
- Solid experience with productdriven software development and agile environments
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Automated testing at different levels (unit tests integration tests etc.)
We would also expect you to have experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Rapid growth journeys (startups scaleups new environments)
- Databases (DynamoDB/PostgreSQL)
- Eventdriven architectures (Kafka)
- Cloud DevOps (Docker Kubernetes continuous delivery logging metrics)
- gRPC and protobuf
- Terraform
- Kanban Scrum and/or a combination of both
