Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented UAT Tester to join our dynamic team. As a UAT Tester you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through comprehensive endtoend testing. You will collaborate closely with developers business analysts and project stakeholders to define testing requirements and develop testing scenarios. Your responsibilities will also include executing test cases documenting results and reporting any defects or issues discovered during the testing process. You will be instrumental in validating user acceptance criteria and ensuring that the delivered product meets the necessary business requirements before it goes live. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of testing methodologies. Additionally you will leverage your experience in testing scripts and reporting to enhance our testing processes. Responsibilities- Develop and execute user acceptance test (UAT) scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather testing requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Conduct endtoend testing for software applications to ensure they meet user expectations and business needs.
- Document and report testing results including defects and track them to resolution.
- Provide feedback to developers and project managers about the usability and functionality of applications.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss testing progress and issues related to quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and endtoend testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of testing scripts and test case development.
- Experience with defect tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
