As a division of BYD Auto BYD Commercial Vehicles Australia (BYD CV) is responsible for the sales and service of BYD buses and trucks in the Australasian market.
About the Role
Based in BYDs Melbourne office in Dandenong South this role will support our Commercial Vehicles team.On offer isCommercial Vehicles Parts Specialist/Warehouse Coordinatorand your daytoday duties will include but not be limited to:
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Manage spare parts inventory for various products.
- Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods using forklifts or other necessary equipment
- Responding to spare parts enquires from customers
- Document and update internal procedures
- Manage and maintain accurate equipment/spares database
- Deliver a superior level of after sales support
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Stock management and ordering
- Liaising with head office and suppliers
- Management of freight
Key requirements:
- Australian Drivers Licence
- 35 years previous experience in a warehousing or distribution role
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to selfmanage time
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of given tasks.
- Current Forklift licence
Desirable:
- Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
- Mechanical Background
- Experience in the commercial vehicles (Bus and Truck)
- Experience with SAP and/or other similar ERP systems is highly regarded.
- Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations)
- Certificate III in Automotive Sales
