Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Advanced Senior) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience as an IT SAP functional consultant
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience in SAP Supply Chain Logistics as a Functional IT Consultant (process design customizing and specifications for enhancements and new processes) in one or more of the following functional areas:
- SAP EWM S/4 decentral warehouse experience
- SAP MM
- SAP PP
- SAP SD
- SAP R/3 Warehouse Management LE
- Good understanding of SAP ECC & SAP S/4 HANA
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Capable to analyse SAP process functionality by debugging code
- Agile experience (e.g. scrum/kanban)
- Experience with automated testing e.g. Tosca
ROLE:
- They work in a DevOps team together with international IT and business product teams
- Close coordination with developers to make go lives safe and successful
- Functional refinement and breakdown of requirements (Epics User Stories) for international Group plants
- Customizing
- Migration and Rollout (ECC > S/4)
- Testing create automated test cases (Tosca) and run manual testing
- Operations Problem Incident and Change Management:
- Operations (3rd level) and on occasion 2nd level (24/7)
- Following up on incident tickets to make long term improvement.
- Actively making suggestions to reduce the number of problem tickets
- Proactive improvements in daily IT operations and tasks.
