Job Description

Job Title: RN Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Miami FL 33125
Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)
Start Date: March 2025
Shift Schedule: 8 / 10/ 12 hrs rotating day night and evening shifts to include weekdays weekends and holidays.
Qualification:
Education: BSN / ASN
License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS
Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in acute care or other areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care.
  • Assesses plans implements and evaluates care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care provides family education.
  • The longterm care nurse shall be responsible for patient ADLs (activities of daily living) assessments BCMA medication and procedures per established policies and guidelines (i.e.). Barcode medication and administration IV therapy blood transfusion monitor blood pressure weight and hydration administration tube feeding management of behavioral patients interdisciplinary team participation admissions and discharges internal and external transfers delegating to ancillary staff electronic medical record documentation patient transport and emergency response procedures.
