Job Description
Job Title: RN Dialysis
Location: Miami FL 33125
Duration: 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)
Start Date: March 2025
Shift Schedule: 8 / 10/ 12 hrs rotating day night and evening shifts to include weekdays weekends and holidays.
Oncall status is required for afterhours care
Qualification:
Education: BSN / ASN
License: Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA
Certifications: BLS ACLS
Experience: 3 years of nursing experience providing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Responsibilities:
- Professional nurse with specialized knowledge and demonstrates advanced beginner skills when providing and directing care for patients with endstage renal disease (ESRD) acute kidney injury (AKI) and latestage chronic kidney disease (CKD).
- Functions as primary nurse for ESRD patient panel and serves as key resource assisting patients navigate the healthcare system.
- Completes documentation for all clinical and technical recordkeeping in the electronic health record and treatment flowsheets in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Plans and delivers technically competent care to patients in alignment with the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Establishes a therapeutic relationship allowing the patient to achieve optimal function through assessment and treatment of their health enhancing the patient experience satisfaction and/or safety.
- Recognizes ethical issues related to professional nursing practice and behaves in an appropriate manner through observance of established policies and ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
- Applies high reliability principles and I CARE values to improve patient outcomes.
