Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Healthcare Supervisor
Location: Nashville TN
Job Type: Contract (Start Date: 01/08/2025 End Date: 04/12/2025)
Shift: Day Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healthcare team in Nashville TN. This contract role requires a motivated professional with at least 1 year of nursing experience who thrives in a supervisory and compliancefocused environment. You will play a key role in ensuring topquality patient care maintaining compliance and managing the operational needs of the healthcare department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Communicate with outside departments by answering questions and providing education as needed.
- Attend departmental meetings to address and share healthcarerelated updates and concerns.
- Provide and supervise orientation for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and communicate with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and manage staff needs including taking afterhours calls and filling vacancies when necessary.
Patient Care Coordination:
- Work closely with physicians to prepare healthcare records for clinic visits.
- Ensure physician orders are transcribed and followed up on promptly to meet patient care needs.
Healthcare Supplies Management:
- Monitor and maintain necessary supplies for the healthcare department to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure the healthcare clinic remains in compliance with all standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple responsibilities
- Flexibility to work after hours and provide coverage when needed
