Must Have Technical Skills:Well versed with below Optical technologies/concepts:DWDM EDFA Vs RAMAN amplifiers ROADM FOADM Optical Transponders Optical Coherent technology ASE OSNR FEC Different fiber types Non Linear effects Different modulation schemes (16QAM 8QAM etc) DispersionGood understanding of FCAPS functionalitiesExpertise in troubleshooting Optical DWDM networksExperience in software upgrades in large networksMin 4 years of Hands on experience on working on Optical DWDM line systems from Ciena Infinera Cisco etcMust Have Soft Skills:Good technical document writing skillsExperience in working in cross team environment across diff time zonesExperience in driving meeting with peers in customers and Vendors teams (1.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing root cause analysis of given issue (2.) To independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time (3.) To adhere to quality standards regulatory requirements and company policies (4.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management Training freshers coaching analysts (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases
