Job Description
Job Title: Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech (Allied)
Location: Rochester NY 14617
Pay Rate: $55/hr
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Shift: Rotating
Description / Comment:
- NBSTSA Certification REQUIRED Must be certified!
- ShiftL D/E Rotate usually four 10s with potential for on call. To be discussed in the interview.
- Cardiac experience required! This is a CV OR Tech position.
- *Must be able to perform Open Heart Surgery*
- Must be competent in CT surgery but thoracic is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support during surgical procedures adhering to BLS certification protocols.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to implement care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems and assist with discharge planning as needed.
- Stay updated on anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care and support during surgeries.
