Job Description

Berkshire Health Pediatrics at East Elm is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to provide Locum to Perm coverage.

JOB DETAILS:
Practice Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Office
Reason for Coverage: Provider Vacancies & Maternity Leave
Dates of Coverage: ASAP4/30/25
Schedule: Weekdays MonFri 85pm
Call Schedule: No Call
Call Ratio: No Call
Average Number of Well Check Visits Per Day: 24 visits scheduled daily (20 min) with 48 well child visits per day on average
Number of Physicians in Practice: 3 parttime
Will Other Pediatricians Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: Dr. Dallenbach Dr. Gicewicz Dr. Pandya
How Many MidLevels Provide Coverage: 0
Will the Locums be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers: No
Number of Exam Rooms: 6
Describe Office Equipment: POC: flu strep covid lead hearing vision etc.
Describe Support Staff: Full interprofessional pediatric primary care team including nurses community health workers and medical assistants.
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 24 scheduled likely 20 seen considering no shows/late cancellations
What Percentage of Patients are Inpatient: Not Applicable
Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Day: Not Applicable
What Percentage of Patients are ICU: Not Applicable
Average Number of ICU Admissions Per Day: Not Applicable
Average Number of Vaginal Deliveries Per Day: Not Applicable
Average Number of CSections Per Day: Not Applicable
Nursery Level (I II III): Not Applicable
Number of Nursery Beds: Not Applicable
Documentation System/EMR: Meditech Expanse

Required Pediatric Procedures: Outpatient Pediatrics Routine outpatient pediatric primary care

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 12 weeks
Facility Reimburse for the Following Costs: Rental Car Mileage Billed at the IRS Standard Rate Flight Hotel

**Additional Note: Willing to consider pediatrician family medicine providers including family med MDs DOs & APPs (NP FNP or PNP).**

Requirement description : **MUST NOTATE ALL DURING NAME CLEARS TO AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!!**

Board Certified Pediatrician or Family Practitioners REQUIRED
Active MA License REQUIRED
BLS/ACLS REQUIRED
Prefer local but open to consider applicants with open availability during period of need with added expenses.
