Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Tampa FL
Shift: 1st Shift
Salary: $140K $180K per annum
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ROLE.
US Citizenship and An Active Secret Clearance is required.
The candidate will work within a team of software and IT engineers to build high performance cloudbased solutions. The Cloud Infrastructure DevSecOps Engineer position will focus on all aspects of design analysis implementation and support of systems software or other solutions pertaining to deploying capabilities to cloud systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the development of open architectures and applications infrastructure and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.
- Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps Big Data/Analytics AI MicroServices.
- Support the architecture design development troubleshoot and implementation of cloud solutions
- Work closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.
- Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels
- Must be selfmotivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervision
- Report status on tasks and assignments
- Must be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.
- Must be able to perform effectively as part of a project team.
- Experience with several of the following tools Gitlab SonarQube Nexus Twistlock/Prisma Cloud Docker Kubernetes (Rancher Openshift K3S) Linux AWS/Azure/GCP and Terraform.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Must be able to sit down for long lengths of time.
- Must be able to travel CONUS and to international sites
Required Skills:
- BA/BS in Computer Science Management Information Systems or related field required.
- 5 years of handson experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure Network Storage Servers Security Windows Linux etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources
- 2 years network and operating system experience
- 2 years experience in container management technologies like OpenShift AKS EKS Rancher Docker
- Experience using a source code repository such as Git Bitbucket Mercurial or Subversion
- Experience using a defect management system such as Jira Bugzilla or Fogbugz
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
