Job Description
Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Cleaning:
- Collect clean and validate data to ensure accuracy consistency and completeness.
- Manage data storage and retrieval systems to maintain data integrity.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data using statistical techniques and tools to identify trends patterns and correlations.
- Create reports and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Interpret and present data analysis results clearly and concisely.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work with crossfunctional teams to understand their data requirements and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to guide strategic decisions.
- Data Visualization:
- Design and develop visual representations of data using tools like Tableau Power BI or similar platforms.
- Ensure visualizations effectively communicate the datas story to nontechnical audiences.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements based on data findings.
- Assist in developing and implementing datarelated policies and practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in data science Statistics Computer Science Mathematics Economics or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Python or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI or similar).
- Knowledge of database systems preferably DB2 and data warehousing concepts.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
