Job Title : FPGA Design and Verification Engineer
Job Type : FTE
Experience : 716 Years
Location : Phoenix Arizona or Sandiego California
Responsibilities:
- 8 years of FPGA Design or Verification Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Strong experience in VHDL Xilinx FPGA/SOC development ASICs
- Some software coding skills preferably using C
- MATLAB/Simulink design and simulation skills
- Some LabVIEW experience
- Scripting language skills e.g. Perl Shell TCL
- Knowledge of simulators STA tools synthesis and routing tools AMBA I2C SPI
- Design experience with communication protocols such as 100Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (Gen3) Fibre Channel.
- Exposure to multilane Aurora link and AXI protocol
- Experience working on AMD Xilinx FPGAs preferably Virtex Ultrascale SOM
- Experience in interfacing FPGA based ARM processor
- Experience with the full FPGA development flow from logic design place & route timing analysis & closure
- Able to work with verification and lab validation team to verify and test the implementation
- Knowledge of any scripting language such as Tcl/Perl/Python
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
