Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Build electrical systems test benches.
- Wire automotive modules.
- Build BDSB and CMU high voltage panels.
- Wire modules to dSpace simulators.
- Wire switches displays clusters sensors lamps radars solenoids and other various components.
- Follow engineering wiring documents and schematics.
- Electrical harness assembly.
- Assemble breakout panels CAN panels and power distribution panels.
- Crimp wires using various crimpers and terminals.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits power distribution and communication circuits (CAN LIN Ethernet)
- Metal fabrication for mounting of components.
- Mounting electrical components and modules.
- Build harness verification frames.
- Pin to pin checks of harness.
- Physical inspection of all connectors and terminals
- Physical inspection and nothing of mismatched circuits all inline connections.
- Assembly of hvf with harnesses and parts.
- Support root cause and test functionality.
Requirements:
- The Electrical Validation Bench project needs qualified technicians to exhibit and manage overall project responsibilities working with several departments demonstrate the knowledge skills and learning abilities with a minimal amount of cross training.
- Strong Communication skills are needed to optimally communicate across diverse teams.
- Supporting the test and development of automotive electrical systems by constructing and supporting advanced electrical test benches and by the update/retrofit of vehicle test fleet electronics.
