Job Title: Web Information Architect (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:
Responsibilities:
- Develop site maps hierarchies and taxonomies to organize web content logically and effectively.
- Conduct user research personas and usability testing to inform architecture decisions and improve navigation flows.
- Create wireframes prototypes and mockups to visually represent the structure and layout of web pages.
- Implement tagging metadata and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to improve discoverability.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers developers and content strategists to align design and functionality with business goals.
- Establish and maintain standards for content governance ensuring consistency accuracy and quality across digital properties.
- Utilize tools such as Figma Adobe XD Axure Miro or similar to develop and present architectural designs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture frameworks navigation systems and design guidelines.
- Recommend strategies to improve website performance accessibility and user engagement.
- Ensure web architecture adheres to industry standards and regulations including ADA compliance and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Architecture HumanComputer Interaction Computer Science UX Design or a related field.
- Masters degree is a plus.
- Experience in information architecture UX design or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex web architectures.
- Proficiency in IA tools like OmniGraffle Visio or Lucidchart.
- Strong understanding of usability principles user testing methodologies and accessibility standards (WCAG ARIA).
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress Drupal).
- Analytical skills for interpreting data and user research insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Certification in UX or IA (e.g. Certified Usability Analyst IAAP UXQB).
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of AIdriven personalization and content automation strategies.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
