Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:- Develop monitor and optimize batch jobs and operations.
- Analyze current technology and develop plans for improvement and expansion.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD solutions by developing coding testing building installing configuring and maintaining IT solutions.
- Analyze processes and deployments proposing improvements to streamline code deployments and minimize errors.
- Utilize configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes in both production and nonproduction environments.
- Document processes and procedures to ensure clarity and repeatability.
- Support production and nonproduction activities addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in releases and sprintrelated activities to ensure smooth deployments.
- Provide enterpriselevel solutions for existing automation and develop new solutions where required.
- Develop proposal plans for new automation solutions and seek approval for implementation.
- Develop review modify and enhance CI/CD principles to ensure efficient repeatable and reliable automation processes.
- Install configure and maintain CI/CD tools and platforms ensuring smooth operation and integration across environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipeline configurations to support seamless code integration and deployment processes.
- Experience automating the full life cycle of complex enterprise IT environments using IaC CaC and CI/CD tools integrated into one unified solution supporting new environment setups or frequent modifications to existing environments particularly with IBM WebSphere MQ Oracle products and AWS.
- Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions focused on scalability repeatability and recoverability.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing advanced automation solutions using tools such as Terraform Terragrunt Ansible Automation Platform Github Actions Jenkins Liquibase and similar technologies.
- Proficiency in one or more programming/script languages such as Python GoLang Shell Ruby Bash Perl.
- Experience working with containers and container orchestration platforms like PODMAN Docker EE/OpenShift/Rancher and packaging tools like Helm Charts and Kustomize.
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions using the AWS WellArchitected Framework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Development experience using Java J2EE Java Spring Boot EJB JSP JSF/Struts and tools like XML.
- Experience with WebSphere ND MQ Oracle Java SQL tools (PL/SQL developer SQL Plus) LDAP Splunk and Dynatrace.
