Job Description
Job Title: ETL Developer
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:- Acquire data from various sources for multiple uses and ensure its transformation into a dimensional model.
- Develop complex SQL scripts to transform data and create views and materialized views in Oracle.
- Automate data integration and transformation processes using Informatica IICS IDMC or Power Center.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering Team on optimal data design and acquisition strategies.
- Perform verification and validation of SQL scripts Informatica workflows and database views.
- Develop automated verification and validation processes.
- Enhance and maintain Java websites that host Tableau dashboards for multiple user roles.
- Work closely with customers to develop mockups and validate designs.
- Address technical problems by collaborating with team members.
- Implement and configure development tools to support the project.
- Create and maintain technical specifications diagrams and other documentation.
- Participate in requirements and design sessions.
- Interpret new business requirements assess their impact and propose enhancements.
- Participate in all sprint ceremonies.
- Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS IDMC or Power Center.
- Proficiency in acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources including Snowflake Oracle SQL Server Excel Access and Adobe PDF.
- Expertise in designing and developing efficient SQL scripts.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills as a system analyst for data analytics or data warehousing projects.
- Proficiency in technical writing diagramming tools (e.g. Visio Erwin) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple organizational units.
- Experience designing and developing Python scripts.
- Handson experience on agile sprint teams using JIRA.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to write welldesigned testable and efficient code using best practices.
- Understanding of security principles especially concerning healthcare data.
- Experience with modern software components for data visualization or business intelligence environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize conflicting tasks.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry or with an HHS agency.
- Familiarity with PII or PHI data handling.
- Expertise in web applications and programming languages such as HTML CSS JavaScript JQuery and APIs.
- Functional knowledge or experience with Web Services (REST SOAP).
- Experience developing dashboards and reports in Tableau including connecting to external data sources.
