Job Description

Job Title: Desktop Support (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline support for desktops laptops printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues escalating complex problems to higherlevel support when necessary.
  • Perform system updates installations and configurations as required.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets email or phone requests efficiently.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on system functionality software tools and security best practices.
  • Ensure a positive enduser experience by maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance including updates patches and hardware replacement.
  • Assist in deploying new hardware or software during upgrades or rollouts.
  • Ensure antivirus firewalls and security software are uptodate and functional.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures including data backup and access controls.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets inventory and technical documentation.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associate or bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role.
  • Proficiency with operating systems (Windows macOS Linux) and common software applications (MS Office VPNs etc.).
  • Experience with Active Directory network troubleshooting and remote support tools.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A ITIL or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST).
  • Experience with enterpriselevel tools like SCCM JAMF or equivalent.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
