Job Title: Desktop Engineer(US Citizens only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Provide daytoday technical support for desktop hardware operating systems (Windows/Mac) software applications and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops printers and other enduser devices.
- Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system phone and email ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.
- Assist with system imaging software deployment and patch management processes.
- Maintain and update user documentation and knowledge base articles for troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with desktop hardware software networking and peripheral devices.
- Experience in Active Directory Group Policy and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with remote desktop management tools and ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow Jira).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A MCSA or similar are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
