Job Title: Systems Admin (Office 365 and Azure ecosystem)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oncall support for afterbusinesshours server outages.
- Maintain configure and troubleshoot servers including DNS DHCP Active Directory (AD) ADFS and Nutanix virtual servers.
- Manage and troubleshoot Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware VDI).
- Maintain configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune Autopilot and Endpoint for laptops and mobile devices.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 cloud applications.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure and its services.
- Build new servers as required including Domain DNS DHCP AD and Nutanix virtual servers.
- Restore servers from backup when necessary.
- Perform server performance troubleshooting and optimization.
- Conduct server security auditing and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain change management documentation for system administration.
- Provide weekly status reports on all activities.
- Deliver high levels of customer service and maintain professional communication with all levels of staff.
Deliverables:
- Conduct a kickoff meeting and provide an introduction presentation.
- Submit weekly status reports detailing individual activities and progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in IT administration with at least three years of specialized experience in:
- Microsoft Intune.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems.
- Windows Autopilot and device provisioning.
- Application deployment and policy management across diverse mobile environments.
- Troubleshooting Microsoft Azure Entra ID Intune and Autopilot.
- Administering onpremises/cloud Active Directory and Active Directory Federated Services.
- Managing Windows and iOS device environments through Intune.
- Azure Active Directory (AAD) Conditional Access and Azure AD Join.
- Using PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks.
- Administering and troubleshooting DNS and DHCP servers.
- Managing Microsoft Endpoint for laptops and mobile devices.
- Supporting Microsoft Exchange.
- Linux commands and troubleshooting (intermediate level).
- Education:
- Associates degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or related discipline required.
- Bachelors degree in relevant fields preferred (with four years of experience including two years of specialized experience).
- In lieu of a degree eight years of IT experience (including six years of specialized experience) may be considered.
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or other relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Intune) are required.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong documentation skills including writing change control and server documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams stakeholders and endusers.
- Proven track record of maintaining secure and efficient IT environments.
