Job Description
Job Title: Infrastructure and Operations Support Specialist
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business objectives and problems identify alternative solutions and perform cost/benefit analysis to support business operations.
- Analyze user requirements procedures and problems to automate processes or improve existing computer systems.
- Collaborate with personnel across organizational units to analyze current operational procedures identify issues and determine specific input/output requirements for systems and reports.
- Write detailed descriptions of user needs program functions and the steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Review computer system capabilities specifications and scheduling limitations to assess the feasibility of requested program changes within existing systems.
- Provide system administration security and infrastructure support for the TIERS Cloud Migration.
- Monitor and analyze both onprem and cloud security and perform security architecture reviews.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and tools and apply this knowledge to protect systems from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Implement security measures and conduct proactive research to identify and understand emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct testing and risk assessments orchestrate calls to discuss test findings remediation steps and ensure project timelines are adhered to.
- Prepare concise and clear reports for management and stakeholders and communicate technical information effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards including NIST 80037 NIST 80053 MARSE controls and POA&Ms.
- Review security violations and discuss procedures with security teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- experience identifying problems analyzing alternatives and recommending/implementing effective solutions.
- experience providing support for both Windows and Linux operating systems and applications.
- highlevel knowledge in network facilities data processing techniques computer hardware/software and network security.
- experience with performance monitoring and capacity management tools.
- experience orchestrating project calls including kickoff test findings review and closeout discussions.
- experience in writing clear and concise reports with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- experience implementing security measures to protect computer systems networks and data.
- experience in ensuring adequate security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
- proactive research experience identifying new threats vulnerabilities and exploits.
- extensive experience with NIST 80037 NIST 80053 MARSE controls POA&Ms and developing Corrective Action Plans.
- experience reviewing security violations and coordinating with security teams.
- Experience supporting Oracle MSSQL and Postgres databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- experience working with Archer GRC Dynatrace Splunk Imperva Web Application Firewall Qualys and MS Office tools.
- experience training staff on network and information security procedures.
- experience with ITIL methodology ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
