Job Description
Job Title: Penetration Tester (Ethical Hacker) (US Citizens only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a penetration tester ethical hacker or security consultant.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP DNS HTTP etc.) web applications and operating systems (Linux Windows Unix).
- Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g. Metasploit Burp Suite Kali Linux Nmap Wireshark Nessus).
- Expertise in vulnerability scanning and exploitation techniques.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles risk management and threat analysis.
- Experience with common web application vulnerabilities (e.g. SQL Injection XSS CSRF).
- Ability to conduct network and system audits and generate detailed reports.
- Handson experience in exploiting vulnerabilities to demonstrate risk and impact.
- Strong communication skills to explain findings clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) or other relevant security certifications.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python Bash Ruby Perl).
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g. OWASP PCIDSS NIST).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and associated security tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
