Requirements
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing implementing and managing security infrastructure while collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance the organization s security posture. The ideal candidate will be proficient in configuring and maintaining security systems responding to incidents automating processes and driving continuous improvements in security operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Infrastructure Design and Management:
- Design implement and manage security infrastructure including both hardware and software components.
- Configure and maintain security devices such as:
- Firewalls
- Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

- Evaluate deploy and manage advanced security tools and technologies to ensure robust protection.
2. Incident Response and Investigation:
- Participate in incident response activities and conduct thorough investigations to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response playbooks and procedures.
3. Process Automation and Integration:
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations processes.
- Integrate security solutions and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
4. Optimization and Collaboration:
- Ensure the effectiveness and optimization of security solutions through regular monitoring and updates.
- Collaborate with security architects to design and implement secure network and system architectures.
- Provide valuable input for developing and refining security policies and standards.
5. Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Demonstrate the ability to independently deliver solutions with minimal senior support or escalation.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
- Present with confidence and clarity to leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Drive and contribute to a positive constructive and innovative team culture.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Share knowledge and insights gained from lessons learned to implement opportunities for improvement.
- Actively participate in activities that enhance the organization s security operations and culture.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in designing and managing security infrastructure including handson configuration of firewalls IDS/IPS and SIEM systems.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and tools with experience in their deployment and integration.
- Expertise in developing and implementing incident response processes and playbooks.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation to optimize security operations processes.
- Experience collaborating with security architects and designing secure system architectures.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders confidently.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud security infrastructure and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST GDPR).
