Job Description
Our esteemed client an established company is searching for a Truck Driver (Waste Collection):
Job Responsibilities:
- To drive the Companys truck for collection and transportation of wastes.
- To comply with all Traffic rules and to practice safe driving habits whilst driving the Companys trucks.
- To comply with all rules governing the transportation of hazardous liquids/chemicals on Public roads.
- Ensure that proper containers bins drums etc. are used to hold the Waste for safe transportation.
- To ensure that the containers bins drums etc. are properly secured/lashed to the truck before driving off.
- To perform Operators Level daily maintenance of the Companys trucks.
- To monitor the Maintenance and/or LTAs Inspection schedules of the Companys trucks and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the due date.
- To monitor the validity date of the Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance policy and to inform the Supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the expiry date.
- To assist in the collection of waste from clients premises.
- To assist in the unloading segregation and storage of the Waste.
- In discharging the above duties to adhere to all Plant Safety Rules and to observe safe workpractices.
Job Requirements:
- Possess Class 4/5 driving license with good driving record.
- With prime mover vacuum truck or flatbed experience preferred.
- Able to read and write simple English
Additional Information:
- Working Location: Tuas
- Working Hours: 5.5 days Mon Friday: 8am to 5pm/ Saturday: 8am to 12noon
- Salary: Basic Up to $2000 Trip Allowance Joining Bonus Quarterly Incentive AWS VB
