We are looking for a passionate and creative EV Design Intern to join our team and contribute to the future of electric mobility.
Position Overview: As an EV Design Intern you will work alongside our experienced design and engineering teams contributing to the conceptualization design and optimization of electric vehicle components and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience in the EV industry and enhance your skills in automotive design CAD modeling and sustainabilityfocused engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of EV components and systems such as battery enclosures chassis drivetrains and interior features.
Create 3D CAD models and prototypes for EV parts and assemblies using software like SolidWorks CATIA or AutoCAD.
Support the team in conducting design validation and testing ensuring compliance with safety performance and environmental standards.
Research and recommend innovative materials technologies and design practices to enhance vehicle efficiency performance and sustainability.
Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and optimize them for manufacturability costeffectiveness and sustainability.
Assist in preparing design documentation presentations and reports for internal reviews and client projects.
Stay up to date with trends and innovations in electric vehicle design sustainability and energy efficiency.
Requirements:
Any graduate / Pass Outs / Fresher / Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering Industrial Design or a related field.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA AutoCAD or similar).
Strong understanding of engineering principles materials science and design for manufacturing.
Passion for electric vehicles sustainability and clean energy.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
Experience with simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS MATLAB or similar) for performance analysis and optimization.
Knowledge of electric vehicle architecture battery technology and charging systems.
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green engineering practices.
