Job Description
Medical Leave Specialist
Location: Atlanta GA 30309 (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview
Join a dynamic team as a Medical Leave and Support Services Specialist where youll play a crucial role in administering comprehensive leave management and support services programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage medical leave Workers Compensation Longterm Disability and workplace accommodation programs
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures related to leave management
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations including ADA and FMLA
- Coordinate with Workers Compensation vendors and maintain OSHA logs
- Drive process improvements and implement new technologies
- Deliver training to managers on leave management regulations and policies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or 5 years equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of STD LTD FMLA and Leave of Absence programs
- Experience with Workers Compensation claims management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HCM systems (Workday)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
