Job Description

Axiomer could potentially yield a new class of innovative medicines and treat currently untreatable diseases.
Our R&D department is currently looking for an (Associate) Research Technician In Vivo (Fulltime).
The role: As (Associate) Research Technician In Vivo you will perform in vivo (mouse) pharmacology studies; This role will include study planning execution data analysis and reporting. You will be working closely together with other researchers in the in vivo team on multiple projects ranging from liver diseases to (rare) CNS indications.
Location: Leiden NL.
We expect our (Senior) Researcher Technician In Vivo:
- To have completed a bachelors degree (Dutch: HLO) in Biology Biomedical Sciences or related field with (recent) handson experience with animal (mouse) experiments (preferably in the Netherlands).
- To Have an Art 12/13f2b 9 or equivalent certificate required to perform animal studies in the Netherlands.
- To have experience with study design and planning animal handling basic administration techniques necropsy procedures sample collection and processing.
- To have experience with analysis interpretation and reporting of (in vivo) data.
- To have excellent knowledge of the principles of the 3Rs.
- To be able to work on different projects (studies) at the same time.
Not required but advantageous:
- Experience with complex administration techniques such as intracerebral injections use of anesthesia/analgesia and surgical procedures.
