Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Business Development Manager to join a leading Logistic company with a PANIndia presence and a global network which provides innovative logistics and supply chain solutions specializes in freight forwarding warehousing transportation and valueadded services.
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities acquiring clients and expanding market presence. This role requires strategic planning industry expertise and strong sales acumen to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive overall business development for Air and Sea freight forwarding focusing on inbound and outbound cargo across various industries (Pharma Engineering Textile RMG Retail Consumer Goods).
- Generate leads and develop a strong pipeline for multiple products and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients understand their logistics needs and provide tailored costeffective solutions.
- Conduct regular client visits to identify and target crossfunctional business opportunities.
- Perform monthly and quarterly business reviews with customers to build trust and increase volumes.
- Collaborate with sales support customer service and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee timely billing and collection of payments actively following up on overdue accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues ensuring effective resolution and continuous operational support.
- Prepare and present MIS reports to meet customer and management needs.
- Coordinate with overseas offices to secure support for key accounts and business growth.
- Promote additional services including customs clearance warehousing and transportation solutions.
Job Requirement:
- Graduate or MBA from a reputed institution with a focus on business logistics or supply chain management.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in freight forwarding with a demonstrated history achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Proven ability to sell and manage Air and Sea freight solutions.
- Expertise in strategic account management client negotiations and solutionoriented sale approaches.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Highly selfmotivated and resultsdriven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in handling industryspecific accounts in sectors like Pharma Engineering Textile RMG Retail or Consumer Goods.
- Familiarity with valueadded services like customs clearance warehousing and transportation solutions.
Location: VascodaGama Goa.
Work timings Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Saturday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm except 2nd & 3rd Saturday off
