Job Description
Job Description: Driver/Operator
- Pay Rate: $18 per hour
- Work Hours: 6:00 AM 7:00 PM 7 days per week including weekends and holidays(40 hour work week)
- Service Area: North Carolina (NC) and South Carolina (SC)
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to and from medical facilities and other designated locations.
- Maintain a clean safe and wellfunctioning vehicle at all times.
- Assist clients in entering and exiting the vehicle as needed ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Follow all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
- Adhere to scheduled pickup and dropoff times ensuring punctuality.
- Maintain accurate trip logs including mileage destinations and time records.
- Communicate professionally with clients dispatchers and other staff members.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver s License.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must hold a valid DOT Physical Certification.
- Must pass a preemployment drug test and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and driving safety practices.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Patience and the ability to handle clients with care and professionalism.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Work hours are between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM 7 days per week including weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility is required as schedules will vary based on client needs within the designated service area.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Capability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs if necessary.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver s License.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must hold a valid DOT Physical Certification.
- Must pass a preemployment drug test and background check.
