Job Purpose
To develop Special Cultural Zones Planning its designs standards and guidelines in alignment with the overall master plans to ensure that the work is completed in line with the business plan specifications budget and timelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop the Special Cultural Zones detailed masterplans and infrastructure plan in coordination with planning strategy and infrastructure departments.
- Manage and review the land use plans and development policies proposed by the Lead planner consultant in coordination with planning strategy.
- Oversee the development of zoning and control regulations guidelines processes and procedures.
- Overseeing the analysis of factors affecting land use and community development including economic sociodemographic legal political cultural physical and environmental.
- Prepare necessary RFPs in coordination with relevant sectors.
- Ensures that changes during the construction and delivery phases in design layouts and costs are documented and reported and ensure adherence to guidelines (for assets under Special Cultural Zones Remit).
- Ensure adherence with UNESCO World Heritage Site requirements.
Managerial Responsibilities:
- Develop the Departments or Sections objectives KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Departments or Sections annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
- Implement and execute the Departments or Sections policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPIs are well developed cascaded communicated and monitored.
- Ensure effective staffing professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering or relevant filed (Masters Degree preferred).
- 6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role.
