Job Description

For our client we are looking for an enthusiastic FX Sales Account Manager (Corporate Sales) with a passion for sales and an innate ability to build strong client relationships to join their growing Sales team in Amsterdam. If you have previous sales experience within a B2B role and a proven trackrecord in a sales environment we want to hear from you!


Job Overview


As a member of the Sales team an FX Sales Account Manager is responsible for the management of the sales relationships with existing client accounts as well as prospecting new clients and accounts. The role holder serves as the interface between Clients and the Dealing team and works closely with Compliance and Risk to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.



Requirements

What You Will Do


Sales related activities:


  • Actively involved in all aspects of the 360 sales cycle
  • Prospecting & lead generation (sourcing & pitching)
  • Planning sales calls meetings postcall follow ups
  • Presentations & documentation
  • Owning/ implementing sales
  • Post sales followUp repeat sales & upselling
  • Developing & maintaining strong client relationships (via Dealing team where appropriate)


Compliance Risk & Regulatory


  • Working effectively and collaboratively with Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance teams to complete the client onboarding process in line with company and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring adequate knowledge of their client (KYC) to enable the firm to deliver appropriate and suitable products and services
  • Liaise with Risk and Dealing re. credit facilities
  • Engaging with the client with integrity ensuring high service standards and in accordance with company policies Understanding and adhering to our clients complaints procedure and escalating where necessary
  • Identify and appropriately manage conflicts of interest in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Ensure that the role as first line defense is undertaken with diligence


What Are We Looking For


  • 12 years of experience in new business sales preferably in the financial realm
  • Experience working within a regulated financial services firm is highly desirable
  • Educational background; ideally Economics or Finance. Masters is an addon
  • Ability to clearly articulate full understanding of end to end sales processes
  • Ability to demonstrate strong sales techniques (Persuasive Negotiation & Closing skills)
  • Good knowledge of FX products
  • Excellent allround communication skills
  • Assertiveness with the ability to influence others in a constructive way
  • Ability to demonstrate credibility in relation to company and product knowledge when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Strong judgement and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative selfmotivation & focus on results
