Job Description
- Evaluate students speech language and communication skills to identify areas of need.
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to students either oneonone or in small groups aimed at achieving specific communication objectives.
- Partner with teachers parents and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into students daily routines and educational activities.
- Document assessment results therapy sessions progress updates and required reports with accuracy adhering to all state and federal guidelines.
- Develop personalized intervention plans to address a range of speech and language challenges including articulation fluency voice and comprehension issues.
- Actively contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings collaborating with team members to define appropriate goals and strategies for student success.
Requirements
- ASHA certification required.
- Eligibility for or possession of a Florida state SLP license.
- Master s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology or a related field.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply and will receive comprehensive supervision and mentorship to ensure their professional growth.
