The Role

Are you looking to advance your career in accounting As an Outsourcing Associate you will play a key role in delivering exemplary client service by preparing management accounts and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will manage approximately 2030 small to mediumsized clients including sole traders partnerships charities and limited companies on a weekly monthly or quarterly basis. Additionally you will review the work of junior team members and assist in raising draft invoices for director/partner approval. This role offers a blend of client interaction and technical accounting work providing a great opportunity to develop your skills and career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare management accounts and VAT returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Ensure exemplary client service is delivered at all times.
• Review input from junior team members and raise draft invoices for approval.
• Proactively manage client relationships and address their needs.
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience:

• Level 4 AAT qualified and/or already studying towards your ACCA qualification (partqualified)
• Experience in preparing VAT returns and management accounts in a practice environment.
• Proficient in using accounts production packages (e.g. Xero Sage 50 Accounts QuickBooks) and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

• Our standard working week is a 37.5hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based)
• Core working hours are 10am 4pm Monday to Friday
