You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe European Cyclists Federation (ECF) is the worlds largest and bestknown federation of procycling civil society organisations. We promote cycling as a sustainable climatefriendly and healthy means of transport and leisure. We do this by advocating for the integration of cycling in transport mobility and sustainable tourism policy at the level of the European Union and at the national regional and local levels.
The main task of the GIS/Data intern is to work with the ECF team on a groundbreaking new project to study crossborder cycling infrastructure in Europe and to help create a new data baseline to enable EU authorities to continously collect data on cycling infrastructure.
The intern will assist the ECF team with finding reviewing and summarising available national data across different EU countries on:
The intern will also have the opportunity to be situated within ECFs wider policy advocacy and project work and be able to take advantage of numerous learning opportunities that can be used for career development.

You will be a part of an international team located in Brussels full of friendly and passionate colleagues. ECF will provide comprehensive training throughout your internship ensuring you can develop valuable skills and gain experience in the field that you can use for your career development.
We offer a fulltime 6month internship paid 1035 monthly. This is a professional internship agreement according to Belgian law called a Convention dimmersion professionnelle in French or Beroepsinlevingsovereenkomst in Dutch. It includes a clear description of tasks and the expected competences to be acquired by the end of the internship.
Candidates are expected to be able to live and work in Belgium and the EU during their internship. Ideally the candidate should start in February 2025.
