We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Technician to join our respiratory care team. The PFT Technician will be responsible for administering pulmonary function tests to patients to assess lung health assist in diagnosing respiratory conditions and support the healthcare team in managing respiratory disorders.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of pulmonary function tests
- Educate patients on test procedures and ensure they are comfortable throughout the testing process.
- Monitor and record test results ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Analyze test data and report findings to physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain and calibrate pulmonary function equipment regularly to ensure proper function.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Provide patient education on respiratory health and assist with followup care as necessary.
- Work closely with the respiratory care team Pulmonologist and other healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care.
Qualification : Diploma / Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
