Job Description:
As a Sports Flooring Installers Apprentice you will work closely with our experienced installation team to learn the skills necessary to install repair and maintain sports flooring systems. This role involves handson training and onthejob experience to help you develop the technical skills and knowledge required to excel in the flooring industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of various types of sports flooring including hardwood synthetic and rubber surfaces.
Prepare and clean job sites ensuring all materials and tools are ready for use.
Follow instructions from experienced installers to learn proper installation techniques.
Operate and maintain flooring installation tools and equipment.
Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet company standards.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Strong interest in learning about sports flooring installation or construction
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
Basic math skills for measuring and cutting flooring materials.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
Willingness to travel to various job sites in Indianapolis area and surrounding counties.
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Prior experience in construction or flooring installation is a plus but not required.
